Dance Illusions consists of a female dance troupe that performs at various Tri-state events from corporate to non-profit. Our style fuses together traditional Indian dance styles like Bollywood, Bhangra, Garba, Classical with modern dance styles like Hip Hop and Contemporary.

Our fusion dance style blends eastern and western culture which engages the audience while delivering upbeat and high quality performances. We also assist with choreographing dances and offer private lessons which provide the attention required for anyone to gracefully perform Indian dance.

About the Director

Sapna started dancing at a very young age while growing up in Lansdale, PA and has participated in various cultural programs in her local community. Sapna received her certification for completing the course of Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance. Sapna has incorporated her training to help co-found a South-Asian fusion dance team, Jhalak, at Drexel University and placed in multiple inter-collegiate dance competitions. At Arya Dance Academy,she has taught Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dance classes to kids of all ages. Sapna has also performed at several local Philadelphia events such as the Susan B. Komen, Philadelphia Mayor’s commission event, Hershey Company and has performed live on the CBS Philly Talk show. Her passion for dance continues to grow as opportunities to perform come her way.
